My Nephew

My nephew Pierce is 7 months old now. I can't believe it! It is amazing to me how much I can love something so small. He hasn't really even muttered any words yet, but still he steals my heart (and everyone elses, for that matter). I imagine that this is similar to the love that Jesus had for us even before we were born, when he hung on the cross for our sins.

I can't even begin to know how it must feel to be a mommy of something so wonderful.....(someday).....For now though, being an Aunt is the greatest gift in the world! Thanks Kate & Shaun!!!

Roughin' It Reunion

Last weekend Brian and I traveled to Chenango Valley State Park in NY for his annual family reunion (on his mother's side of the family). We had a great time and I think I laughed harder than I have ever laughed before in my life! It was so wonderful to spend time with his Mom, Brother, Aunts & Uncles, and cousins. We don't get to see them very often and we cherish every chance we get.

We were able to use our new tent that we got for a wedding gift and that was super fun! :) Besides a really bad storm on Friday night, we definitely enjoyed sleeping under the stars in our new tent.

I have posted some pictures below! Brian and I already can't wait till next years reunion - we always have such a blast hanging around the fire and just relaxing with family! Enjoy the pics!
