Celebrate!

So as of June 1st I moved back in with my parents in Mechanicsville. I can't believe the month of June 2007 is already here. First, I never thought it would come and second, after losing Daniel last year during the month of June, I couldn't believe that it came so fast! This month is surely going to be a time to rejoice in all God's blessings. I am unbelievably blessed in so many ways. For anyone that knew Daniel, you know that I am blessed to have been a part of his life, and for those of you that know Brian, you now know just how blessed I am to have him in my life. This month, I become his wife! I am so excited about that.

This month we also mark the one year date since Daniel has been gone. Many people have asked me how I am going to spend the day on June 19th and you know, my only response is "celebrate". This month is a time for celebration. God and I have our daily conversations about the last four years of my life and what went down, and I spend time daily, reflecting on all the ways that I miss Daniel, but God continues to remind me that I need to celebrate! So, on June 19th, I have Spiritual Formations class at Regent (I am commuting to class on Tuesdays from Mechanicsville). I think, what a better place to be, then there? Daniel told me he wanted me to go back to school at a Christian University, God made sure to have that door open for me when the time was right, so there I will be - Celebrating!

I hope each of you that read this, that miss Daniel as much as I do, take the time on June 19th, not to be sad, but to rejoice and celebrate. Remember, Daniel is the one who got the Victory!
