Resurrection Eggs

Of course I wanted to post this before Easter, but I guess now is better than never. Leading up to Easter, the girls and I did our Resurrection Eggs every morning at breakfast and they absolutely loved it. It is a great way to teach the Resurrection story to little ones. The best part, when Chyler opened the last one, I said, "what is in it?" and she said "Nothing." :) I said, "why is there nothing in the egg?" And Sierra said, "Because He rised!!!!!!" Love it! Here are just a few pictures I got one day while we were playing with the eggs and reading about the Resurrection of our Savior - Jesus Christ.

I had one set of eggs and then remembered that my mother-in-law had found another brand new set for me last Easter. It was nice to have two sets for the girls to play and explore each egg on their own as we talked about them. Fun times!

We all love our "Bible App" on the iPad. And the girls especially like it because it reads the verses out loud.
