New Beginnings!

I have been meaning to write this post for a little while now, but have not had the time to do so. After getting back from the honeymoon, I was so busy trying to get back into the swing of school work and all that stuff, I have been slacking on the blog. Sorry!

So, we are happy about NEW BEGINNINGS!!! Not only is our marriage a brand new beginning of what the Lord has in store for us, but also, Brian has a new beginning with his career path. Upon our return from Punta Cana, Brian found out that is boss of 3 years, to put it nicely, is not a man of integrity or honesty. Thankfully though, Brian was working part time for a man that is definitely an honest, loving, Christian man! Brian was offered a full time position by this guy, his name is Jason, and Brian jumped all over it.

Since July 14th Brian has been working for a company called Golf, Etc. which is based out of Suffolk, VA. The job is great for him. Brian is excelling, having leadership opportunities, and in an extremely (more) positive environment. We are so blessed.

Brian's new boss, Jason, and his wife Kendra have also invited us to their church, for those that don't know, we are still "church shopping" here in Chesapeake (it is NOT fun). The past two Sundays, we have attended church with Brian's new boss and his family. This Sunday, Kendra told me that Brian was a total and complete answer to prayer. She said they had actually tried to hire one guy and they "lost" him - he stopped calling, emailing, never showed up again, nothing. Then Brian called Jason the Monday after our return from DR and told Jason what was up with his current job situation. They had been praying for Brian and Brian and I had been praying for a new job - we just didn't know God had all intentions for us to be each others answers! God is awesomely amazing!!!

So, here is to new beginnings, new jobs, new friends, new churches, new marriages, and most importantly, new lives being changed!!!!
