Welcome Home to us!

What a blessing it is to be married to some who has a positive mental attitude about life! There is definitely a battle going on and we are so thankful that God always prevails! So many things "attacked" us as soon as we got off the plane on Sunday night. We appreciate all those that will lift us up in prayer.

Unfortunately, Karen developed some health issues while in Punta Cana, all of which are healing well with prayer and wonderful medicines. We are blessed to live in the USA!!! Karen came in contact with something poisonous while out of the country and developed a severe rash. Also, she definitely came in contact with Brian a few times :) (hehehe) and developed "honeymoon-itis". Not fun! I am sure the ladies can relate to that. However, God is awesome and always taking care of us.

When we got home we also had a lovely "welcome home" present waiting for us. I am not talking about Jenny's wonderful chalk exclamations on our parking spaces or the streamers on the door - those were definitely fun to come home to. I am referring to a 90 degree condo! Our AC unit stopped working while we were gone.

Thankfully Brian and our neighbor that lives downstairs were able to fix it and get us back up and running on Tuesday. Monday was a very unpleasant day though. We actually took a picture of our indoor/outdoor thermometer so you all could "feel" our pain. At 6:20 pm on Monday night it was 101.3 degrees outside and 99.9 degrees inside. :) Even our kitties were walking around with their tongues hanging out of their mouths, panting like dogs. Poor babies!


I must say, we do love being married and now we are aware of how much we appreciate and love Air Conditioning!!!
