Aunt Julie's 40th Birthday

While we were in NY we had the chance to see many family members and spend time with them. On Friday night, after Brian's arrival, we had dinner with my mother's family to celebrate my Aunt Kathy's birthday. It was a great time and all of us Virginians really enjoyed the fish fries! :) Something we can't seem to get here in VA.

After dinner Brian and I were able to go to the weekend campground site of his family and visit with his Mother, Brother, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Uncle, and friends of the family. That is always a blast and we love that when we go home to NY we have the ability to not only see my family, but to visit with his family as well.

On Sunday we were blessed to see Brian's family again at a Retirement Party for a long time family friend. It was nice to see everyone and show them wedding pictures and visit. We wish our visits were not so few and far between. I wonder what the chance of convincing all of them to move out of that cold state of NY and come to sunny VA is????

Also on Sunday, we had the joy of celebrating my Aunt Julie's 40th birthday. My uncle threw her a birthday party and it was a blast! We had so much fun, me playing cards and Brian playing ping-pong all evening - that is when he wasn't helping to take care of Pierce (his favorite nephew)! :)

Aunt Julie got a "candy bra" for her birthday!
