Sunday, September 16th was my dad's birthday! What a wonderful blessing to have the ENTIRE Stank clan in Mechanicsville to celebrate. Not only were all 10 of us there to celebrate, Mom, Dad, Kirst, Keith,
Kate, Shaun, Pierce, Karen, Brian, and Mike - But we were also blessed to have Blakely (Mike's wonderful girlfriend) in attendence, she drove up from Raliegh, NC and our wonderful friend
Jenny Robertson! It was a great time of laughter, love, food, and fun!
The menu for dinner was Karen's famous pasta salad, corn on the cob, speidies (a NY favorite), clams, crab legs, and ice cream cake to top it off for dessert. Trust me, no one went home complaining that they were hungry! :)
We also were able to "cheer" or should I say "cry" for our Buffalo Bills, who unfortunately lost their second game of the season, we are fans none-the-less and we were all decked out in our Bill's gear - Even Pierce! :) We love our team, no matter what!!!
Here are some fun shots from the day...

Brian LOVES to help out with Pierce (he even changes diapers! What a great uncle!) Here he is feeding Pierce lunch.

Mike and Blakely - I think they are
J. P. Losman fans. :)

Kirst & Blakely preparing the Speidies for the grill

Pierce - Go Bills Go!!!

The whole gang (minus the photographer - Karen and the napping baby - Pierce) :)

Yum!!!

Even more yum!!!

Pierce's after dinner snack - Don't worry, according to Grandpa "The bottle was empty and had been sitting out for hours." And YES! That is the "great" Uncle Brian that is supervising!!!

Happy Birthday Dad (Grandpa)!

Mom & Dad's Pride & Joy - From Left to Right - Top Row - Michael, Brian, Shaun, Keith. Bottom Row - Blakely, Karen, Katie, holding Pierce, and Kirsten.
As always, Pierce is sooo happy to be around family and here he seems to be entertaining Uncle Mike just fine. Also, he just loves Shadow, every time he sees the dog his face lights up!
