Brian and I had gone out driving around to look at some rental properties that we are considering for our move in December on Saturday afternoon. About half way home I said, "Brian I don't feel very good, I need to eat something." The way this kid growing inside of me has worked so far is...if I go too long (like 2 hours) with out some kind of light snack or meal, I vomit. So, I was beginning to get that funny feeling, like everything was not alright anymore. Brian responds, "I will make dinner when we get home." I said, "Honey, I can't wait for you to get home and then cook dinner, I need to eat something right now, soon!" About 20 seconds later, I began losing the contents of my stomach into my hand, napkins, and on the floorboard of our Pathfinder - Absolutely Wonderful!
Brian quickly turned into a nearby 7-11 and I jumped out, with my hands covered in vomit and continued throwing up in the parking lot. I was so embarrassed as I stood there and vomited into the grass. I can't imagine what on-lookers were thinking. "Look at the pregnant lady puking her guts out!!!"
Thankfully my husband (who is wonderful, I must say) doesn't have a weak stomach and while I finished getting everything out of me, that was humanly possible, he cleaned up the yucky napkins, the front seat of the car, and the floorboard.
Ahhhh.....The joys of pregnancy....
