Mt Trashmore

On the weekends (or whenever Brian is not working - which isn't very often lately) Brian and I try to get in as much walking / exercise as possible. Hopefully once B's working hours change, we can go walking together in the evening as well; however, right now with him getting home so late and us trying to eat dinner together, walking at night usually doesn't happen.

This past weekend, on Saturday we went walking around nearby neighborhoods looking for houses for rent. We also traveled across the city line and went to look at a cute 4 bedroom house in VA Beach that was on our list of possible rentals. We are soooo excited about getting out of this condo (our lease is up in December) and into a cute little house. Once that happens, we can also get a crib and start setting up the nursery for our little peanut, as far as I am concerned, that will be the one of the only joys of being pregnant (so far). :) Please help us by praying for our search, we know God has the perfect place just for us picked out!

On Sunday we went to Mt Trashmore Park - It once was a landfill that they converted to a park and it has a hill (where all the trash was compacted) that is 60 feet high. We had so much fun walking, hanging out, and playing around. I love that my husband is so adventurous and fun! He is the best! Check out the pictures that we - mostly Brian - took:

We finally made it to the top - I may only be 16 weeks pregnant and haven't gained any extra weight, but I have to admit, halfway up I got a little tired and short of breath.

No, my new haircut isn't that crazy - It was pretty windy up there! Also, Brian was just waiting for me to turn around so he could get a picture that includes my little pouch. :)

The fall sunset was so beautiful!

The baby and I had some fun playing on the playground equipment. :) I can't wait to actually have a little toddler to play with!
