Fun with Friends (Part 2)

On Sunday Sierra and I decided since the Bills were on a by this weekend, there was no point in sitting around the house all day (...unless a certain someone wanted to work on homework, and we know that wasn't the case...); so we ventured down to Sandbridge Beach.  Some of my very wonderful, beautiful friends from Richmond were in Sandbridge for the long holiday weekend.  I was so happy to see them and spend some time chatting and catching up.  My friend Susan was at the walk last weekend, so it was a joy to see her two weeks in a row!!!  My friend Crystal was also there and Crystal just recently gave birth to a little boy named Lucas.  In my slacking nature, I never did post these pictures of Sierra, Crystal, Lucas, and myself when we visited with them back in August just a few days after Luke was born.....

Obviously, Lucas has grown much bigger now and it was a wonderful blessing to be able to see them.  They were staying right on the bay in Sandbridge Beach and the house they were in was huge and gorgeous!!  I was so thankful to visit with them for several hours.  The time just goes by way too fast when you are with wonderful friends.  I so much wish we lived closer to each other.  I pray every day that soon the Lord will bring us back to the Richmond area.  I have many friends here in Virginia Beach (whom I love!), but nothing can replace those people that know me so well and have seen me through so many obstacles and joys.  It is hard to find friends that you share those special bonds with.  Girls - It was so wonderful to see you! I look forward to when we can get together again! :)

Here are some pictures of the kiddos...
It was a real photo shoot and I think the kids were shocked by all the flashes!
It looks like Sierra is telling Luke in this picture..."Look kid, there is no crying during photo shoots..."
Here we are....Mamas and Babies
Sierra (who lost her pants during our time there - I think I was going to change her and then got distracted and had to grab the camera), she was teaching Lucas how to blow raspberries with his tongue!
Sierra was very serious about eating Lucas' hand!
