Coloring

Apparently once you turn four, you suddenly become concerned with coloring in the lines, at least that has certainly been the case for our new little 4 year old. If you know Sierra well, that you know that as long as she has some tape, some paper, some scissors, some glue, and some pencils she will be good to go for at least an hour or more. :) Now that she is pretty much not taking a nap and just having "quiet time" instead, she loves to sit and do "crafts" or "homework" - that's what she calls it. :) She has also starting really concentrating on her coloring and trying harder to do it inside the lines and make it neat. I am glad to know this is a talent she has taken to on her own, for a while there I was worried about her and even tried to keep her in the lines. I guess that is why "they" say that your first child gets all the "mistakes" that you as a parent make. I have tried Sierra's whole life to keep her "in the lines", so to speak. If you know anything about Sierra, she will not be kept "in the lines." LOL! Thankful she is picking up these things on her own finally; hoping there are many other more "mature" and responsible things that come with being FOUR as well! :)

Here are some pictures I have taken lately of our little creative girl. I haven't gotten many variety, they are mostly of her coloring her cottage that she got for her birthday, but they are pictures none-the-less :)
