Rainy Days

There is something about being a kid and loving to play in the rain. I personal don't understand it because I shriek when rain starts falling on me. :) But never-the-less, our girls LOVE to play, dance, stomp, jump, hop, skip, whatever....In. The. Rain! :)

And just because, like it always seems around here, every fun encounter ends with someone crying...LOL! All kidding aside though, Sierra did make a bad decision to wear her dress up shoes outside on the deck in the rain and she slipped and fell all

our back deck steps. :( It was a dreadful sound and of course I was nursing at the time (in the kitchen where I could see them, but some how missed her going passed me with out her boots on and her dress up shoes instead). THANK GOD she did not break anything, but she was bruised and swollen in seconds. Poor kid. She really is pretty tough though, she only cried for about 5 minutes and then we prayed over her boo-boos and she was back up and going again. She did want her blanket and for a little while as I was making dinner, she kept saying she just "wanted to lay down and fall fast asleep" so her boo-boos could heal. I kept talking with her and keeping her awake because I was so worried about her having a concussion or something. Again, praise God she is okay, just a few scrapes and bruises, but she is much better now. :)

Meanwhile, this little (smart) one, stayed inside with me where it was nice and dry! :)
