We were in Richmond spending a few days with my parents a couple weeks
ago and while we were there, I wanted to go Strawberry picking. A friend
of mine suggested a place to me called Mt Olympus Farm
and so on Mother's Day, while the two little girls were sleeping,
Sierra and I decided to go and check it out. We had so much fun picking
berries together, just me and my biggest girl. She was a great picker
this year (although I think she had more fun eating them), :) at least
for the first little while; then picking the grass became much more
interesting. :) We picked several pounds and paid the crazy (inflated)
price of $2.50 per pound...I think I remember only paying about $1.69
per pound just 2 years ago in VA Beach. O'well. They are organic and
were so super yummy, it was worth it. Here are some pictures of the fun
we had....
