39 Weeks!

Today was our 39 week check-up. Not too much to report though.

Our midwife said that the baby is perfect and I am doing perfectly and everything seems to be progressing exactly how God designed it. No complaints here! :)

After my cervical exam, she was able to report that the baby's head is continuing to move very nicely down into my pelvic region (I can certainly feel the pressure these days). :) Also, my cervix is 70% effaced (or thinned out)! That was good news to us. So hopefully once the cervix finishes thinning out, it will begin to dilate and we will be meeting our little girl very soon! :) Sorry to all those of you that guessed mid April on the survey; I am not sure she is going to hang out in her watery home for that long!

Our midwife, after checking me, said "It is going to happen!" And I jokingly responded, "yeah, it has to happen eventually, I don't want to be pregnant forever!" She laughed and said, "You won't be, we will probably have a baby before next week." Then I told her that would be good; especially since my mother is praying that it happens before this weekend, because she and my dad are going to be in town for a bowling tournament.

We shall see! Only God knows! :)

Just in case though, we scheduled our next appointment for next Thursday, April 10th; however, our midwife (and Brian and myself) don't believe we will be attending that check-up.

As always, we will keep you updated!
Lots of love! Thanks for the continued prayers - they are much appreciated!
