I know I didn't write yesterday and that may have made some of you think that this baby finally arrived....well, unfortunately she didn't arrive yet! :)
Maybe today will be the day? Only God knows!
Yesterday was a wonderful day though! It was a perfect 28th birthday! Dad headed out early to the bowling alley, while Mom, Brian, and I were lazy and hung out here till about 2pm - taking our time getting ready, eating breakfast, etc. Then we headed to the bowling alley to see my dad for a little while. Then we decided we were going to try and walk this baby right out of the womb, so we went shopping! :) We went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Michael's, and Target. It was so much fun and we stocked up on some needed items just in case she does arrive and I don't get a chance to get to the store in the next few days / weeks. :)
We arrived back home to meet up with my dad and headed out to a wonderful birthday dinner at The Cheesecake Factory! Boy was it good!!! I had the Petite Filet and it was simply delicious! Also, Mom told the waiter that it was my birthday, so after dinner this wonderful server came over to the table with a tiny plate of ice cream (Brian had made me a birthday cake at home so they didn't want to overdo it at the restaurant) and he sang happy birthday to me. It was really special, it wasn't over the top like they usually do, just one guy singing and he had an amazing voice!
We headed home after that, sang happy birthday (didn't take any pictures - sorry), ate Brian's wonderfully delicious cake, and then mom and I did some last minute preparations in the nursery while the guys watched basketball. After such a full day and so much walking, I was beat and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow!
It was such a great day; even if Sierra didn't arrive, I know that I am blessed to have a family that loves and cherishes me. I am so excited about my birthday gift too! More to share on that in a later post!

Happy Birthday! I know Sierra will be with you SOON! :) In fact, I'd called Kirsten today, because you've been on my mind. Just wanted to know if anything was happening. I'm waiting anxiously, like everyone else! :) I just can't wait to see her! It makes me all weepy thinking about it! I LOVE BABIES! (obviously) lol
