New Life

The Lord never ceases to amaze me.  With death always comes new life.  God always seems to give us something to be thankful for, even among our own sorrow.

I am happy to announce that my cousin, Jason and his wife Stacey are getting ready to give birth to their baby girl.  Stacey is not due until October 5th, however, just like my sister Katie, Stace's water broke 2 weeks early and Grace is ready to come!!! :)

They left for the hospital around 7 am this morning with contractions being 5 minutes apart.  I am so thankful for God's provision in this life.  After my whole ordeal with trying to get Sierra out, I have been praying that things will be "easier" for Stacey and Jason.  I am thankful that He is in control.  Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare and "labor" to welcome their little one in the world and on their new journey of parenting!

Here is their latest update....

"9:00 - 11:00am --- Moved into our room now, met with a doctor from Stacey's office (ours is not on call today), and they gave her a Cytotec pill to help "soften the cervix" and hopefully help get some dilation working. This dose will take about 4 hours and then they'll see if she needs to take another round of it. Stacey is having a lot of back pain and back labor along with the contractions which isn't helping much, however the labor actually seems to be progressing a lot faster now the meds have set in and the contractions are getting a lot stronger. Wasn't the original plan but will probably soon be going for the epidural..."

As soon as I can, I will post pictures of little wonderful, Grace Gringer!!!
