Pray, Pray, Pray!!!

I can not believe my eyes.  It is unbelievable what is happening in the southern portion of our country at this moment.  I have been praying all day for the people of the Texas and Louisiana area. 

I will admit that I have been watching Fox News Channel since I woke up this morning, expect for the 2 hours that Brian changed the channel before he left for work.  He can't believe that I can watch it all day long, but I seriously could watch Fox News 24 hours a day. :)

I can't believe that they are actually talking to people on the phone that have chosen to stay behind, not listening to the mandatory evacuations and the confirmations that if you stay behind you will face "certain death". They are telling people that have decided to stay behind to write their social security numbers on their arms.  Unbelievable!!!!

Now they are reporting that one of the local levees in Louisiana has been breached as well.  They have been stating that this hurricane could be one of the worst storms to hit the US in our Nation's history. Even though it is a Cat 2 storm, the total make-up of the storm and the size of it is being described as worse than Katrina!  The storm is stretching 600 miles wide!!!!  Amazing!

Pray, Pray, Pray!!!!  Also remember the law enforcement and emergency personnel who have to stay behind to take care of business and take care of those stubborn residents that decided to stay behind. That would also be a very strong reality for us, if Virginia Beach was ever threatened by a hurricane, with Brian being a law enforcement officer as well.
