Sierra turned 2 months old today! What a blessing she is! Aside from God's Grace, she is the most amazing gift we have ever been given!!!We thank God for her daily and we can't remember life before this sweet little angel was given to us.
The book we read before bed tonight was You are Special by Max Lucado. It was very fitting, because she is so very special. The greatest knowledge of all is knowing that even though we think she is super special, she is even more special to her Maker. We remind her every day how much God loves her and we pray that she will grow to love Him and serve Him.
I can't stop snapping pictures of her...here are a few I took over the past few days.
She seems to have her mouth open a lot lately, trying to talk and making new sounds all the time.
I think she might become a thumb sucker. She is constantly trying to put her thumb in her mouth. I think once her coordination gets a little better she will achieve success. We will see. Of course this is not something we are hoping for. She wouldn't take a pacifier, even though she loves to suck all the time, she seems happier with her hand.
This is her serious face. :) She is definitely starting to show her personality more! :)

"You are Special" is one the favorite books in our house as well. Makes both Shaun and I cry whenever we read it...such a powerful message.
