Last weekend, after (a little) begging, Brian agreed to go to Richmond for the night on Saturday. I was missing some hanging out time with my family and so we quickly packed up and headed to my parent's house. We left the beach during Sierra's 1st nap so that she would sleep on the way there. She is such a trooper and so far a good traveler! :)
We had a great time hanging out and visiting. My dad was busy catching up on some work because he had been out following his gall bladder (removal) surgery, so Mimi was very happy to spend some time with her grand daughter. Papa did find time to make a steak dinner on Saturday night though and it was wonderful!
We are heading back again this upcoming weekend for Father's day! I am excited. I must say, this social girl, really loves lots of interaction now that having a baby keeps me at home most of the time. I really do need to find a "Mom's Group" in the area and make some "mommy" friends! :)
Here are some pictures of our time with Mimi and Papa:

Mimi got to feed Sierra. We have been giving her a bottle every few days, now that breast feeding is going wonderfully. 1) To let Daddy and others take part in feeding and 2) Because we ran out of room in our freezer with an over abundance of breast milk and I would hate to see it go to waste.

Hello Karen...Its so wonderful to read about Siera and how you are doing through your ups and downs of breast feeding. I am not sure if you know about this website but i thought id pass it along. Its called www.breastmilkproject.org This organization has moms with extra breast milk they cant use because they produce so much. They end up sending it to places like Africa where moms who just cant produce the milk needed for their babies. Its something we had been looking into one day and thought id pass it along. If you had already heard of it disregard :) Take care!

Hey Karen,
Sierra is so cute! It looks like you are doing a great job with her and that you are enjoying her so much. To answer your questions about Sear's... We have been very happy with them. But, we end up spending about $130 each time we go. They have a CD that you can purchase with all your photos on them for $100 or if you buy $100 worth of prints then you get it for $30. So, we figured we should get some prints for our parents and get the CD as well. Once you have the CD you own the copyrights so you can make as many prints as you want off of it. So, to be honest, I don't really know about their free offers. I assume there is probably a $15 sitting fee (or something close to that). But, it is really hard to choose just one picture after you look through all the ones they take. So, that's why we end up spending more. I hope this helps.
