I have to preface this post and say that I have a "brown thumb." However, my mother, my mother-in-law, and my hubby all have green thumbs so I am hoping it will trickle down to me and the girls some how. :) I too desire to have a green thumb and I especially desire to be able to grow a veggie garden. Ever since Brian and I have been married I have been telling him that once we had some land I would love to grow a garden, so I am thinking now is a better time then ever. :)
A couple weeks ago the girls and I planted some seeds in the house (cucumber, tomatoes, green beans, green peppers, & watermelon) and just this week Brian built a raised bed outside and transplanted everything. Because of my brown thumb, I ask for many prayers that our veggies will actually produce a harvest! :) Can't wait for some yummy home grown tomatoes, cucumbers, and everything else! Enjoy the pictures of this process, updates will be coming in the future....

| Daddy & Sierra went to Lowe's and got all the wood and top soil for making the raised bed |

| Daddy certainly has lots of helpers around here these days! |

 |
| They worked until darkness set in - Here they are hanging the trellis for the cucumbers and green beans |

| The next day, Sierra & Daddy transplanted all our seedlings |
 |
| Now we just need to water it and pray over it every day. :) |
