Monday's Movie: Our Tiny Dancer

Sierra has been taking dance lessons since September. She goes for 45 minutes every Tuesday afternoon. She usually loves to dance, but I am not really sure that it is going to be her "thing". This week was parent visitation week at dance class and for some reason, she didn't really feel like dancing. For the first part of the class (ballet) she just stood there with a pouty look on her face and was hardly dancing at all. Finally I waved her over to me and gave her some water and after that she perked up. However, while she was standing there drinking her water bottle, she looked outside and saw some boys playing and said to me, "Mama, can I go play with the boys?" Oh Sierra!!!!

The second part of class they worked on the tap dance routine that they will be doing for their recital at the end of May. Their class ends this week, but then those girls that are performing in recital will continue on to practice and get ready for their performance. They are already working on learning the dance and I got a little video of it. Sierra seemed to be a bit happier with her tap shoes on; she definitely does love to tap. :) She even was pretty funny when responding to the teacher's questions at the end of the song. She had the whole room full of parents laughing. Silly Sierra!!! :)
