April New York Trip - Day 1

Because we are planning another trip to New York here soon, I thought this week could be my "New York Week" on the blog! :) We were in NY back in April, can't believe that was over 2 months ago already, for Easter and Sierra's birthday. We always have SO much fun when we go back to visit with Brian's family & my extended family. The girls are already talking about going back and counting down the days! Here are some pictures of our first day there.

When we got there on Saturday, there was a fun little Easter Egg Hunt in the town where Brian's Mom lives. So, we all went there to get some eggs...

After we collected some eggs and toured the fire truck & saw the bunny, we headed over to where the girls Grandfather works and he let them play around and see all the big trucks. The girls LOVED that.

After seeing the trucks, we stopped by a nearby playground and had fun playing around. It was very chilly though, so we didn't get to stay long.

Later that evening after lunch time and nap time, we headed over to the York Fire Hall where they were having a dinner and raffles fundraiser. The girls had so much fun seeing all the family, playing around, acting like bunnies with Grandma Connie, and Sierra's "ticket" even won her $35!!!!! :)

Sierra was making her own "tickets" and turning them into the gentleman who were doing the raffles! It was pretty funny! :) And very wise too! :) Too bad none of her "tickets" won any prizes though!

And just in case all that wasn't enough fun already, when we got home we colored eggs before heading to bed! :)

As you can see, it was a great & busy day!
