Sierra - Salvation!!!!

Today while having a conversation with Sierra, she asked me about the cross. So I was recalling with her what happened on the cross.

I asked, "do you remember what Jesus did for us and why He did it?"

She said, "he died for us" and He did it so "we can be alive again."

I elaborated a bit more and said, "Yes. Jesus died because we are all sinners and in need of a Savior; He saved us from our sins by dying on the cross so that we can all live with Him forever in Heaven." (We have talked about this many a time, so I kinda just felt like I was repeating the same thing over again)

But then she said, "I want to live forever with Jesus in Heaven."

So I said, "You do? Well then all you have to do is ask Jesus into your heart. Ask him to forgive your sins and tell him that you know you need of a Savior and ask him to be in your heart forever."

She then asked me, "will you do that with me?"

Of course I said "SURE!" So right then and there, I prayed the prayer of salvation and she fully and tenderly repeated every single word I prayed (never has she ever been so still and attentive at repeating words, it was a true God Moment).

At the end, she asked Jesus to be her Savior!!!! A Glorious Memory for this mama and a wonderful day for our little 4 year old!!!
